A wonderfully characterful Art Deco engagement ring, crafted in rich 18ct Gold with a beautifully detailed Platinum-set Diamond face. The Diamonds are arranged across an elegant geometric cluster, with further stones extending onto the shoulders for a fabulous spread of sparkle across the finger.

Fine milgrain detailing traces the Platinum setting, creating the intricate, lace-like finish so loved in jewels of the Art Deco period. The crisp white Platinum provides a beautiful contrast against the warm yellow Gold band, while the softly shaped outline gives this ring a particularly pretty presence on the hand.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring face measures 8mm long x 14mm wide.
11 x Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.17ct combined.
Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Platinum settings, Diamond (0.17ct).

STAMPS: 18ct Gold, Maker's Mark B&R.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: This Art Deco ring is in excellent antique condition, with the Diamonds securely held within their intricate Platinum settings and the delicate milgrain detailing remaining beautifully defined. One previous resize is visible to the band, which remains in excellent wearable condition with only minimal signs of age.
