ERA: Victorian, c.1880.
MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 13 & 1/2" (34.5cm) long.
Larger oval clusters measure 16.5mm long x 14mm wide (at the front).
Smaller clusters measure 9.5mm long x 8mm wide (at the back).
Garnets graduate from 7mm long x 5mm wide to 11.5mml ong x 8.5mm wide, weighing approx. 38.00ct combined.
Rose-cut Garnets graduate from 2mm to 3mm in diameter, weighing approx. 18.50ct combined.
Total Garnet weight is approx. 56.50ct.
WEIGHT: 31.6g
MATERIALS: Tests as Garnet Gold, 9ct Gold bolt ring and jump rings (later added), Garnet (56.50ct).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
EXCELLENT: Garnets are bright and well-matched with minimal age-consistent surface wear visible under magnification only. Settings are secure and the articulated links are in superb condition with a pleasing antique patina. Later 9ct bolt ring and jump rings are secure; overall beautifully preserved for its age and ready to wear.

Layaway Installment Plans
A layaway is an interest-free payment plan that enables you to reserve an item with an initial deposit, and then pay the balance over 60 days.
Layaway is very popular with Lillicoco customers, particularly when making a more considered purchase.
How It Works
In total, you will make three payments over three months:
Day 1: 33.33%
Day 30: 33.33%
Day 60: 33.33%
Your layaway purchase is reserved for you as soon as the initial payment has been taken.
Your order is shipped once the full balance has been paid.
All of our usual terms and conditions apply with a layaway purchase, although 15% of the invoice total is nonrefundable in case of cancellation or return, acting as an administration fee.
A layaway is not a loan, nor is it a form of credit. A credit check is not required to put an item on layaway, and missing a payment will not affect your credit score.
If you do not complete your layaway on schedule your reservation may be cancelled and your payments may be refunded, minus the administration fee.
