Description

The open shoulders divide around the oval stone, with fine engraved strokes adding a leaf-like detail to the slender setting.

Tested as 22ct Gold, the warm metal is an especially lovely partner to the Garnet's deep colour. Its small scale makes it a charming choice for a little finger, while the open spaces around the stone keep the design delicate and airy.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 8mm wide at the front to 2.5mm wide at the back.
Garnet measures 6.5mm long x 5.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 1.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as 22ct Gold.

GEMSTONES: Garnet (approx. 0.70ct).

STAMPS: 22, other hallmarks obscured.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Garnet has a small fleabite on its face, recorded as not particularly noticeable. The ring remains in very good condition, with its rich Gold hue and delicate engraved shoulders giving it considerable charm.
